  • Anaimalai / Indira gandhi Wildlife Sancturay : This sancturay Was established in 1976, it covers an area of 955 Sq kms at the northern end of the cardamon hills. Situated at an altitude of 1,400 mts in the Western Ghats near Pollachi (about 90 Kms from Coimbatore), Enjoy your adventure fields here . The sanctuary is known for its Lion-tailed macaque and nilgiris langur. Also to be seen are daur, elephent, chital , sambar, mouse deer, barking deer and a large variety of birds. Top slip in the anaimalai hills is a picturesque locale with tourist accommodation. It is an ideal picnic spo. It is possible to explore the sanctuary on elephant back or ina aforest vechicle.

  • Siruvani dam : Siruvani Dam site about 48 Kms from Palakkad is also almost equi-distant from Coimbatore city. Journey to Siruvani through the winding road is thrilling. It is surrounded by thick forest having all sorts of wild animals.This magnificent waterfall at situvani is located in the midst of thick forests, and entry is restricted after 5 pm. The sweet-testing situvani is the source of drinking water supply for coimbatore city.

  • Udhagamandalam :"The queen of hill stations" . Ooty is located in the western ghats at an altitude os 2245m. discover by the British in the early 1800s, Ooty with its sylvan surroundings and wonderful climate was once a nostalgic reminder of home to the Biritish. Though ooty today has become over-crowded especially during summer , the more adventurous can look beyond the hustle as the surrounding hills have a lot to offer such as long walks, superb views ,tpugh trekking trails and other adventurous purists. The Botanical Gardens, the lake, stone house , St.Stephen's church, The ooty club, wen locks and the view points are a few of thje popular attractions here.

  • Valparai : This Place is famous is for tea plantations. This place is surrounded by evergreen forests. The region is specialization is Elephants. We can see elephants all the in these areas. Elephant are always rounding in ans around this place. There are two peaks. Its called as "Akka peak" [elder sister] And "Thangachi peak" [younger sister]

  • Aliyar Dam :Aliyar Dam was constructed in 1962 across the Aliyar river.It is located in the anaimalai range , 65 Km from Coimbatore and it is found on the foothills of Valparai. Here, Aliyar lake receives water from upper aliyar reservoir through hydro-electric power station in Navamali and the Parambikulam reservoir through a contour canal. Near Aliyar dam, a good-looking park, an aquarium and a mini theme park is being maintained by Tamilnadu Fisheries Corporation. Ambarambalayam Darga is situated at the banks of the river Aliyar.
